HOW DID IT START?
My story
My name is Kasia Skopiec and I refer to myself as Chief of Making Impossible Possible. Why?
I truly believe that there are no hopeless situations. Does organizing a medical mission to the most dangerous war zone in Ukraine within 24 hours sound like a challenge? For the Foundation I co-founded, it's just another day.
How did it start?
I started my professional path with a university degree at the Warsaw School of Planning and Statistics. I graduated with a degree in Japanese Studies, but that was just the beginning. As befits a true multitasker, I added marketing and management.
After finishing my educational adventure in the 1990s, I set out to conquer the job market. I worked for giants: Coca-Cola Poland, Warner Home Video, Art-B, Blue City, as well as for the biggest insurance sharks: PZU, Compensa, Heros. For dessert, I landed a job at the Royal Lazienki Museum in Warsaw.
I spent more than 20 years in the corporate jungle, battling savage deadlines and bloodthirsty KPIs.
The real breakthrough came when I said 'enough' and started my own business. Today, I proudly run businesses in the pharmaceutical, floristry, real estate and health food shops.

Helping is in my blood
My grandparents, Sława and Izek Wołosiański, risked their lives hiding Jews in their basement in Drohobych during the Second World War, saving 39 people.
Their heroism inspired me to continue their mission and set up the Humanosh Foundation, which helps political refugees from Belarus, war refugees from Ukraine and the Tibetan and Afghan people.
We organise medical and humanitarian missions, help refugees to adapt in Poland and offer temporary shelter in our Mirny Houses (Mirny House means 'House of Peace' in Ukrainian) in Warsaw and flats in Łódź.
However, this is just the tip of the iceberg of our activities.

My family
On a day-to-day basis, I am a happy wife and mum. These are the most important roles in my life. Our family is a real dream team of six. Me, my husband Piotr and our wonderful four: Sonam, Zuzia, Kandżu and Franek.
I am here for you
My life motto - nothing is impossible - comes true in every area of my life. When I'm asked what's next, I answer: now I want to share my knowledge and experience to inspire others to action.
I believe that together we can achieve things that seem out of reach.
