Ania - Resident of Mirny Dom (House of Peace)Ania is a refugee. She comes from Grodno in Belarus. When she took part in a peaceful demonstration, she was threatened with death, her parents were arrested and put in prison. She fled overnight, taking only her suitcase of essentials. She ended up in Poland with virtually nothing. She found shelter in the Mirny Dom. The Humanosh Foundation took care of her, helping her to get documents, providing psychological support and putting her in touch with a vocational counsellor. -

Yura - Resident of Mirny Dom (House of Peace)Yura is a single father of three children from Orichovo in the Zaporizhzhia region of Ukraine. After being evacuated due to the war, Kasia and the Humanosh Foundation provided his family with a roof over their heads, rehabilitation for his disabled daughter and support in obtaining the necessary documentation.
